FASHION CRUSH AND CLOSET
SOMETHING ABOUT BLUE… NOT JUST COLOUR… 💕 ( more pictures)
…modesty meets style
Blue mostly is a colour that goes for all skin types. And still fulfill that one glamorous purpose
It has got this blend with the atmosphere.oops! Does that exactly suggests where its basic inspiration is derived.
Maybe that’s why blue is royal. Just maybe. Anything royal is super like out of this world
And not to forget…. You can hide under blue, just where blue and someone knows your mood. But I sure don’t believe blue means moody all the time. Though your outfit may depend on your mood but ERM, (what am I saying) but ERM yes. ..not every mood is blue.
Blue is just a unique colour for everything
Is it safe to say blue is the new Black
I Mean #fashion “black”lolz

3THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT VEILING
The veil: is the traditional Muslim women’s head, face or bodycovering, of numerous varieties among time and space, these include; ‘chador’,the Jilbab, which is a concealing coat, the Kimar, which is a sheer headscarf and niqab, and burqa. (Exposito, 2004)
Hijab or veiling can be used to describe an overall standard of dressing which symbolizes modesty, privacy and morality.
The tradition of veilng practiced by contemporary Muslims predates Islam(Sheriff 1997, Expositor 2004) The oldest known law pertaining to veiling is from the middle Assyrian period (1300 BCE) The law required married women and unmarried women under the protection of their father to cover their heads in public.
The main scriptural injunction that motivates the use of veil is in Suratul Nur where Allah Asked Muslim women to”cast down their looks and guard their private parts and do not display their ornaments except what appears thereof…”
First,” values” are what a society hold dear, with extreme respect and worth. Two major types of values are Religious Values and Secular Values.
The religious composition of a community and an agents(persons) exposure to secular values shape their veiling choices. Thus, people who acquire religious values engages in religiously approved behavior while those who acquire secular values engage in religiously prohibited behavior. Consequently, since veiling is an issue of Identity, the more you veil the more you decrease your secular value, the less you veil the more you decrease your religious value.
Secondly, the central idea in the theory of Identity develeloped by Akerlf and Leann (2000,2002,2005) is that people (agents) suffer dissonance /anxiety when viatiating from ideal behavior with their social identity.
Adopting an Islamic Identity like “veiling ” might serve to the reduce the likelihood of acquiring secular values by imposing behavioural prescriptions that make indulgence in religiously prohibited behavior psychologically costly.
Veils serve as a;
PHYSICAL REMINDER of religious prescriptions for behaviour.
FORM OF CULTURAL RESISTANCE: in order to immunize an agent (person) against secular values so that exposure is less likely to lead to indulgence. So, that a Muslim is exposed to other people’s values should not be so much f an excuse to be influenced.
RELIGIOUS DUTY: it is fard. A religious injunction on a Muslim woman to cover.
Make no mistake, it is not easy to hide the skin behind the inch of clothes and still look as gorgeous as a queen in the ice of a creamy city
